Reverend Quincy L. Davis is a native of Cross, SC and is the 17th Pastor in the rich 129 year history of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. He seeks to share God’s word with a spirit of excellence and passion to demonstrate that we need the salvation, love, and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  

He holds a Bachelors degree in Marine and Environmental Science from the Coast Guard Academy, a Master’s degree in Instructional Systems from Florida State University, and a Master’s degree in Strategic Studies from the Air Force War College. He retired from the U. S. Coast Guard after 23 years of service. The Lord has opened doors and made room for him to minister and serve in 8 different states. He currently teaches 7th grade Science.

 He has served in several ministry positions since 2005, when he was licensed to preach at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Toledo, Ohio.  The positions include: Associate Pastor; Superintendent of Sunday School; Collegiate Minister; Member of the Prison Ministry; and Teacher (Bible Study, Sunday School, Men's Fellowship, Young Adult, and Youth Ministries).  Reverend Davis was ordained in 2008 at the Historic First Baptist Church in Williamsburg, VA. 

Rev. Davis is married to Taujuana (Tee) Davis (also a Cross Native). They have four children - De’Aundre, Phenix (deceased), Johnathan, and Lauryn.
